Alex is the owner of Rabbit Patch nursery and will be on site working with the rest of the team.
Alex has had lots of experience working in nurseries down in Brighton and Hove but the pull of the open spaces the country side were too much.
Alex has completed three official educational courses to gain her qualifications. Alex has also completed numerous training courses to keep herself up to date with the ever changing world of Early Years care and education.
I have always had a passion for working with children, to watch them learn and grow as individulas through our natural resources.
During my 16 years in childcare I have gained valuable knowledge and experiance through nannying and nurseries. I worked my way up to senior positions which has lead me to naturally progressing further to Deputy Manager.
I feel this is an exciting opportunity for me at Rabbit Patch and I am very much looking forward to working closely with Alex and the team.
I have an NVQ level 3 in childcare and I am first aid trained. I am keen to study towards my NVQ level 5 in management.
I have a keen interest in photography of which I am currently woking on completing my online diploma in.
I am a fairly new level 3 practitioner, who loves working with pre-school aged children. I enjoy being creative and will be involved in any messy play activities out in the setting
After completing my GCSEs, I took a year out to work as a children’s party host in family entertainment centres to see if this was the path I wanted to take. I went on to complete a Level 2 diploma in childcare and education and Level 2 Childcare Practitioner. I have since gained CACHE Level 2 award in Paediatric First Aid and Level 2 award in Food Safety and Catering.
I adore my job, watching the children grow and develop into individuals with their own personalities is fascinating. I have a keen interest in supporting children with additional needs and am blessed to say that I wake up in the morning and want to go to work everyday!
Hi all, My name is Mandy, and I am the nursery Chef.
I have worked with the Reggio approach for 5 1/2 years. As well as cooking for your children I really love to get them involved in the food they eat and welcome them into the kitchen to help prep, make cakes or look at all the different food I have. As well as food my other passion is my dog Daisy who is a 18 month old Bichon Frisé who keeps me on my toes.
I have had childcare experinace in 7 differnt placements through college with ages ranging from 4 months to 11 years old.
I am a level 3 qualified practitioner.
My first college placement hired me while I trained and I worked there for 3 years and gained a working knowledge of the nursery environment.
I have both a parrot and a rabbit at home and enjoy caring for both the children and animals at Rabbit Patch.
